What you can raise here
- A record about your company that is inaccurate, out of date, or attributed to the wrong entity.
- A request to access, correct, or erase your own personal data, or to withdraw a consent (DPDP §11, §12, §6(4)).
- Personal information of a private individual appearing where it should not.
- Anything unlawful, defamatory, or infringing that we are hosting.
What to include
So we can act on the first reply rather than the third: the page URL, the exact line or record you are disputing, what the correct position is, and any document or registry reference that shows it. If you are writing on behalf of a company, tell us your role.
What happens next
- Within 24 hours — we acknowledge your grievance and give it a reference.
- Within 15 days — we resolve it, or tell you plainly why we cannot and what we are doing instead.
- If your grievance is about a specific ingested record, that record is pulled from retrieval while it is under review — it stops being used to answer questions immediately, not after we finish.
Faster route for a factual error in a record
Signed-in users can flag an individual record straight from the source-document panel on a developer’s profile — look for Report incorrect data. That pulls the record from retrieval on submit and puts it in front of our review team with a 48-hour SLA. It is the same team; it just skips the email.
Escalation
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your personal-data grievance, the DPDP Act gives you the right to escalate to the Data Protection Board of India. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data, our Terms of Service for the rules of the service, and Contact for anything that is not a grievance.
